Do you ever have to deal with family members or people in your life that are hard? Do you get frustrated in dealing with social media and even the news? Maybe you are even tired of your own self. There are some people that feel that they are the problem and that the world would be better without them. They wonder why they keep trying or why they worry about anything. This can be emotional exhaustion.
Sometimes you might not feel tired in your body but you feel that you are beyond tired when it comes to dealing with people or even things around you. This is something that can take time to build up but once you get to that point, it can mess with your sleep and cause you to put your life at risk.
Emotional exhaustion is something that people don’t often realize they are experiencing and they don’t even realize they are tired until it is already too late. Once they realize they are emotionally tired, this can lead to blaming and being angry at themselves. Sometimes though, people will deny that they are feeling this way. They will continue to be tired and continue dealing with people until they are dealing with an unhealthy situation in themselves.
There are people that will go into escapism so that they don’t have to face the reality of what they are feeling and some will run to toxic people. They will have emotional breakdowns or anxiety attacks and will be overwhelmed in everything in their life.
Most of the time their body will stay strong but their mental state will be a totally different question.
Understanding Emotional Exhaustion
A person that is emotionally exhausted isn’t necessarily physically tired. When someone gets tired in their emotions, they never seem to be able to get things back into perspective.
Some people will experience these things without realizing that it has to do with emotional exhaustion:
- Not hungry.
- Losing hair.
- Endometriosis.
- Sleeping problems.
- Problems with blood sugar.
- Dysmorphia.
- Acne.
- Eczema.
- A leaking gut.
Even though emotional exhaustion didn’t cause these things, emotional exhaustion can lead to stress which can lead to health problems.
